about my illustrations 

My illustrations are typically pen and ink, coloured digitally.

I have illustrated puzzle books, picture books, educational text books, readers, book covers, posters, toy designs, brochures, maps, branding and business identity.

I am excited by Australian culture, history, prehistory and the natural sciences, and have a deep passion for genre fiction. Not surprisingly, these interests are the themes behind many of my illustrations.

My first picture book Ziggy & Zrk and the Meteor of Doom was published in 2004 by Little Hare Books and received an honour award in the 2005 Crichton award for Children's Book Illustration. I also wrote and illustrated another puzzle book Peril Space Tours in 2006, which was also published by Little Hare Books. I illustrated the Captain Cal series which was written by Jan Dallimore and published by Black Dog Books. I also wrote and illustrated Puzzles Down Under, published by Black Dog Books.

To date, I have illustrated seven trade books and contributed to a little over one hundred (yes, 100) educational text books.
