It wasn't actually my intention to create imagery depicting the story of Leda and the Swan.
I carry a lot of reference images to life drawing sessions, as a resource for adding creative elements to the compositions. For months I had been bringing reference images of swans, looking for the right time and right art model for the combination.
It wasn't until the first print was revealed that I realised the inevitable connection to the classical Greek tale of a woman's encounter with a god. So you can interpret these as moments from the narrative if you wish, but really they are simply four prints of a woman with a swan.
